Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Cognitain, based in India ("Cognitain", "we"), covering your use of the Habit AI app for iPhone and iPad. By downloading or using Habit AI, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Habit AI is licensed, not sold, to you. Your license is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These Terms supplement that EULA; where they conflict, the EULA controls for license matters. The license permits personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store usage rules.

An account is optional — you can use Habit AI without one. If you choose to sign in (with Apple or Google only), you are responsible for the security of that Apple or Google account. Purchasing a subscription or the lifetime unlock requires signing in, because your purchase record is linked to your account so it can follow you across devices. You can delete your account at any time in-app; see Account Deletion.

Habit AI Pro is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase, billed by Apple through your App Store (Apple ID) account. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you manage and cancel them in your App Store account settings (iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions), not inside the app. Current prices are shown in the app and on the App Store, and may vary by region. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. Full details, including free-trial mechanics, are in our Subscription Terms.

• Don't attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the app or its backend services.
• Don't use the app in violation of applicable law or the App Store terms.
• Don't attempt to access another user's account or data.

Habit AI helps you track habits, supplements, body measurements, and wellness scores, and can read Apple Health data you permit. All of this — including AI-generated coaching insights — is informational only. It is not medical, health, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. Do not rely on Habit AI for medical decisions.

AI features run on-device via Apple Intelligence and may produce inaccurate or incomplete output (for example, a habit parsed from your text, or a summary of your activity log). Review AI output before relying on it. AI features are only available on devices that support Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 or later).

You own your habit data. You can export it as CSV at any time from Settings, and delete it locally and from our servers as described in Account Deletion. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy and Data Usage pages.

The app, its design, branding, and content (excluding your data) are owned by Cognitain and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant no rights other than the license above.

You may stop using Habit AI at any time and may delete your account in-app. We may suspend or terminate access to cloud services for accounts that violate these Terms. Deleting your account or the app does not cancel an active App Store subscription — cancel it in your App Store settings.

Habit AI is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of cloud sync or that the app will be error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cognitain is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory law of your place of residence applies.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Contact: support@cognitain.in.
